How to Set a Project Budget

On Gipo, you can define the estimated value for completing the project considering the total cost or total time of the tasks.

To define the project budget control, click on “Projects” in the side navigation bar and then click on the project’s “Options” button.

Then:

  1. Click “Edit”
  2. Go to the “Financial” tab
  3. Enable the “Budget” button
  4. Set the budget control in the “type” field
  5. Inform the estimated cost or estimated time
  6. Click “Save”

In this same location, it is possible to notify project managers when a certain percentage of the budget is compromised.

To track your project budget, simply click on “Projects” in the side navigation bar and view the list.
